Sean Diamond Park

This award-winning park is named for Army Staff Sergeant Sean Diamond who was serving in Iraq as a heavy construction equipment operator on his third tour of combat duty when he was tragically killed in action in 2009. Sean was an Oakland native, who grew up in Dublin.

Located across from an elementary school and a subdivision, our workers across multiple trade groups came together to transform an empty five-acre lot into a neighborhood park that enhances the community with long flower-lined walkways, a colorful playground, a tennis & volleyball court, and picnic tables with barbecue areas. Sean Diamond Park’s primary attraction is its 90-foot-long zip line, which is the first of its kind in Dublin.
