CONTRACT VALUE$5.9 MM
SERVICES

Description

Our contract entailed the installation of water, electrical and telecommunications utilities for the new facility, which is being developed within an existing building that was previously part of the California State Fairgrounds. Our project consisted of 5,700 lineal feet of pre-insulated heated and chilled water return and supply pipelines as well as normal power, emergency power, communication lines and telephone duct banks.

The biggest challenge on this job proved to be digging the 50’ wide trench shown in the design drawings within the actual space allotted to perform the work. After analyzing various trenching methods, we were able to eliminate almost all of the export – a strategy that enabled us to bring the job in within budget while providing more working space for our team.
