From Erosion to Restoration

The scope of work included selective tree trimming to clear damaged vegetation, installation of new rock slope protection along vulnerable stretches of shoreline, and repairs to storm-damaged trail segments. Waves from the storm had severely eroded the shoreline, washing away tons of sand and dislodging large boulders from existing retaining walls. McGuire and Hester executed all work in close coordination with city officials to stabilize the site and restore functionality while protecting the surrounding environment.
