The DGS New O St. Office Building Project was a design build Project for the State of California that McGuire and Hester was a design partner on from the very beginning. McGuire and Hester successfully helped the General Contractor (Rudolph and Sletten) with accurate design information and used our vast experience with civil construction to assist them in being selected as the design builder for this project.

Desription

As a partner on this project, in addition to assisting with the design of the various civil portions of work, McGuire and Hester was also responsible for the construction of the grading, utilities, building excavation and paving on this project. This scope included the mass excavation for the building, over 79,200 SF of grading for concrete, asphalt, and landscape improvements, new storm drain systems, sanitary sewer, domestic water, and fire water services which totaled more than 1,600 LF of piping.
