Cherryland Elementary

McGuire and Hester was awarded this contract from Hayward Unified School district to prepare a 5.4 acre lot which used to be the home of Sunset High School (closed in 1990) for the future relocation of Cherryland Elementary.

McGuire and Hester worked to demolish existing underground systems prior to crews installing new underground infrastructure including storm, sewer, water and gas lines. This underground infrastructure will support all necessary utilities for nine new building on the site.
