Services We Provided
Desription
This park-like setting provides The Walt Disney Family Museum, The Visitor’s and Information Center, and many other A-list tenants with a picturesque entryway. McGuire and Hester was hand selected by the Presidio Trust, not as the lowest bidder, but as the best responsible contractor for this project. The project included the rehabilitation of an adjoining 3-acre parking lot, excavation for 200,000 square feet of natural turf, installation of the storm drain and subdrain systems including a domestic water system. Electrical work was performed to provide for lighting and a future sound system. Concrete sidewalks and pathways led to the completion of this project along with the installation of sod, that was contract-grown by our supplier.
Constant communication and problem solving between the Presidio Trust and the McGuire and Hester project team led to a successful and rewarding project for all involved, and most importantly, for the public.
