With its open-air plaza, cascading fountains and grassy amphitheatre for outdoor concerts and plays, the Livermore Valley Center Park Plaza is a key part of the revitalization of historic downtown Livermore. McGuire and Hester worked on this project from the ground up, starting with site demolition, grading and installation of underground utilities. Our team installed nearly 50,000 square feet of decorative concrete pavers, nearly half of which were mortar-set, imported Blue Stone to match the existing stonework. We also constructed a public restroom facility with copper roofing, and created seating walls of multicolored tiles as well as water features and fountains. The landscaping phase of the project included placing 5,500 square feet of sod in the new amphitheatre and transplanting native Oak trees.
