East Bay Municipal Utilities District Walnut Creek Water Treatment Facility

Under the direction of EBMUD, McGuire and Hester provided the design, constructed the shoring and provided the labor and equipment for a 45-foot deep cut to a 72” diameter pipeline. Additional work included welded steel pipe up to 8 feet in diameter with several intricate shoring systems for deep cross connection tie-ins. Plant piping included several thousand feet of pipe ranging in size from 6” to 66”.
