This project involved the renovation of a nearly one-acre park on Willow Street between 13th and 14th Streets in West Oakland. A major priority was the remediation and removal of contaminated soil from the site prior to the job start. Once the site was prepared, the McGuire and Hester team installed new storm drains along with a new asphalt basketball court. Additional project features included architectural concrete, new play equipment, safety surfacing and renovation of existing restroom facilities. We also installed new landscaping with a new irrigation system. The renovated park now serves as a clean, safe gathering place for neighborhood families.
