The accomplishments of McGuire and Hester since inception in 1926 are solely due to the efforts of individuals working together as a team. It is the employees of McGuire and Hester who run the office, bid the work, buy the equipment, build the projects, all working together to make the wheels turn.

Statement
It is our organizational mission to continue to build our construction company of superior strength, competence, and reputation by supporting our employees’ personal and professional growth. We believe that in taking care of our employees,
they in turn will provide superior customer satisfaction.
Corporate
Objectives
In order to achieve our mission, the employees and the Company must pull our financial strength, human talent and carry out the essentials of successful contracting by:
- SAFETY
Promote safety as our number one concern. McGuire and Hester employees are expected to incorporate safe work practices into our work plan to improve work site conditions and to eliminate potential safety concerns. The Company provides safety training and safety incentives through our Safety “Cents” program, and finances equipment safety innovations and improvements.
- PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT

Create, recognize and implement new technologies and methods, and assess their effectiveness in our continuous improvement process. We compare our results through Performance Benchmarking. We strive to be the best in every thing we do.
- SCHEDULING
Unite an organizational awareness of present and future work to mitigate the cyclical flow of revenues, employment, equipment utilization and cash flows.

McGuire and Hester employees are expected to create and maintain a business attitude that promotes fairness in all of our dealings with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, communities and other McGuire and Hester employees.
