Winning projects in the classic competitive bid structure of the public works market has been a mainstay for McGuire and Hester.  To be successful in public works, one must be the low-cost producer of the service.  McGuire and Hester has developed an excellent program for identifying bidding opportunities that match our strengths and creating innovative approaches to the estimating process. 

While our low-cost producer of services gives us advantage in the public market, the private sector work also entails more sophisticated marketing, presentation, and negotiation skills.  Private clients demand expertise and proven accomplishment, and are more apt to recognize and reward what value our skills bring to the success of their projects.  Therefore, we dedicate significant marketing, engineering and estimating resources toward successfully obtaining and keeping private clients.

Our professional team of estimators also has experience in the design-build arena.  McGuire and Hester will be well positioned as more and more public and private entities see the rewards of design-build.
